Yes, late registration for TOEFL is allowed but, it comes with an additional fee. Regular registration should be completed at least seven days before the test date, while late registration can be done up to two days prior with an extra charge of approximately around INR 3,900. The late registration of TOEFL exam closes four days before the test date.

You can verify your Test of English as a Foreign Language test center information and timings by logging into ETS support account 24 hours before your appointment. The official TOEFL website provides an India test center list with established venues spread throughout Ahmedabad and Allahabad and Bengaluru and Chennai together with more than thirty other centers nationwide. Testing candidates must pay INR 16,900 to take the TOEFL exam in India through either online or phone registration in addition to applying at test registration centers.

As per the official ETS website, TOEFL iBT Test is accepted by 100% of Canadian universities. Some of the top universities in Canada that accept TOEFL scores include the University of Toronto, the University of Alberta, McGill University, York University, the University of British Columbia, McMaster University, the University of Waterloo, etc. Typically, universities require a score between 79 and 100 (some might require a high score depending on the course requirements). However, students must check the English language requirements for their course on the official webpage for exact details.

If you belong to a country where English is not the native language, you will have to provide proof of English language proficiency with the help of exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, etc. The University of Toronto does accept TOEFL scores. In the case of TOEFL iBT, the University of Toronto requires at least 100 with a minimum of 22 in Writing. The discretionary range of TOEFL score is from 89 to 99 with at least 22 in Writing. In the case of paper-delivered TOEFL, the University reviews each application individually.

Different Canadian universities want different TOEFL scores. For bachelor's courses, you need around 80. For master's courses, you need about 90. Some top universities want more than 90.
