SRM IST Trichy offers a Merit Scholarship to BTech students. Candidates who have secured SRMJEEE Rank 101-500, as fixed for various Phases (I, II & III) in SRMJEE (UG/ campuses) can get a scholarship. Candidates must be eligible for admission to first-year BTech to apply for the scholarship.

SRM IST Trichy provides scholarships as financial assistance to students. SRM University also offers international scholarships to students. Some of them are the Founder's Scholarship, SRM Merit Scholarship, Chancellor Constituency Scholarship, Employee Ward Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, Socio-Economic Scholarship, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Differently Able Scholarship, SRM Arts and Culture Scholarship, and others. Yes, NEET is required for admission to MBBS at Trichy SRM Medical College:
- The college only accepts admission through the national level entrance examination, NEET UG/PG
- Admission is based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET UG
- The college does not accept separate admission tests
- Students who successfully pass from the college do not need to appear for the MCI exit exam

In the past years, part-time MBA has gained more popularity. It uplifts a candidates resume and improves chances of getting managerial roles. IIM Trichy PGPBM course (part-time) is specifically designed for working executives. A part-time MBA from IIM Trichy is a good option as the candidates get a tag of being IIM alumni. In NIRF 2023 rankings, the institute has secured 22nd spot in the Management category.
However, comparing it to a full-time course, the latter wins over any time. Hence, candidate is advised to go for a part-time MBA only if they cannot opt for the regular programme.

Trichy SRM Medical College is one of the best private medical colleges in the country. With a beautiful atmosphere and infrastructure, the college maintains a student friendly environment.
The college also provides in campus internship which is rare in private medical colleges .
While, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is equally good . It's fair to say that Trichy SRM Medical College is as good as the former.
