TS ECET Eligibility

No, students from Maharashtra are not eligible for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET). To be eligible for the TS ECET, candidates must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. 

Here are some other eligibility criteria for the TS ECET:

Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or a 3-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject 

Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam with at least 45% marks, or 40% for reserved categories 

Candidates pursuing a Diploma course under sandwich pattern must complete their practical training before the counseling ends 

Candidates from bridge courses can appear if they have completed the practical training before the counseling dates 

Before registration, the candidates are advised to check the official TS ECET eligibility criteria. If the candidates are not able to meet the eligibility criteria, then they will not be allowed to participate in the examination and admission process. The basic eligibility criteria for TS ECET are:

• Candidates have to be of Indian nationality.
• Should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
• Should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognised by the Government of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent examination.
