The authorities of Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE will be responsible for the preparation of the TS ECET tie-breaking rules. The detailed tie-breaking rules for TS ECET merit list will be prepared and released online at ecet.tsche.ac.in. The tie-breaking rules are important as it will allow the authorities and candidates to understand how problems involving same-rank candidates will be resolved.

For Pharmacy admissions, the scores secured in the qualifying exam will be considered if two or more candidates have secured the same rank in TS ECET. If the tie is still not resolved, the authorities will allot a higher rank to the candidate who is older.

The authorities follow certain guidelines and process in case two or more candidates secure the same ranks in TS ECET. Firstly, the candidates who have secured more marks in the Engineering subject will be allotted higher. If the tie still persists, then the marks secured in Mathematics, followed by Physics will be taken into account. If the candidates have secured the same marks in all the four subjects, then the candidate who is older in age will be allotted the higher rank.

An integrated merit rank in TS ECET means the rank the officials will assign to the candidates based on the marks obtained in the exam. The allotment of seats will be done based on the TS ECET rank, preferences and seat availability.

Yes. Those who do not have a Diploma in Information Technology are eligible for admission into the BE/BTech Information Technology through TS ECET. However, the first preference will be given to those who have a Diploma in Information Technology.

The authorities will prepare the TS ECET merit list to select candidates for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the candidate in TS ECET will be taken into consideration to prepare the TS ECET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for every branch of the Engineering course. During the counselling process, the candidates will be summoned and allotted as per their rank in the TS ECET merit list.

Generally, the authorities of Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE do not send the TS ECET result by post but they may inform the candidates about their result through SMS or email. However, the link to access the TS ECET result will be available online. Candidates will be able to log in using the required credentials to access and download the result in the form of a rank card. The candidates are advised to print out the rank card and keep it safe until the end of the admission process.

Candidates will be able to access the mock test of TS ECET tentatively a few days after the registration process commences. Using the mock test, the candidates will be able to prepare well for the examination. The details on how the mock test will be conducted and its related instructions will be available after it is released online by the authorities.
