It wouldn't be wrong to assume KIT TIPTUR could offer better placements than Tumkur University, KIT TIPTUR is much more reputed than the other, and of course it's a private institution running for years, perhaps much older than Tumkur University.

The average salary package in Tumkur University is around 7.2 lacs, while the recent data on KIT TITPUR suggests that the average package there is 12 lacs per annum the highest, 70 to 80 percent students for placed the previous year, companies that visit and are expected to visit are top notch companies like TCS, TATA etc.

Choosing between  M.Sc. at Tumkur University and Bharathi College of Nursing depends on several factors and with your career goals.

Tumkur University is a well-established public university with great academic resources.

It offers a larger range of M.Sc. specializations within related fields.

University provides trained professors with advanced degrees and research experience.

Bharathi College of Nursing offers fewer M.Sc. specializations compared to Tumkur University.Limited research opportunities Research facilities and resources might be less extensive compared to Tumkur university.

Tumkur University, Karnataka offers 19 courses in M.Sc. So the no. of seats vary according to the courses.

Few of them are:

M.Sc. in Chemistry: 76 seats

M.Sc. in Psychology: 36 seats

M.Sc. in Mathematics: 76 seats 

M.Sc. in Biochemistry: 60 seats 

M.Sc. in Physics: 76 seats 

M.Sc. Organic chemistry: 54 seats

Tumkur University, Karnataka offers good placement to the students.

According to the data shared the Placement rate in the year 2021 is 71% and in the last year it increases upto 81%.

Average package of year 2021 is 5.22LPA and that of year 2022 is 7.2LPA.

TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are the top Companies hiring students from the university.

There have been a tremendous growth in the placement over the years in the university.

There are two types of scholarship for MBA at Tumkur University, Karnataka. The Government Scholarships and University Scholarship. More details about these are provided below:

  • Government Scholarships:

State Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students belonging to Karnataka who have secured a rank in the Karnataka PGCET or KMAT entrance exams. The scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000 per year for two years.

Admissions in Tumkur University interestingly is both merit based and entrance based depending on the course one chooses or intends to do or pursue.

Course like MBA and MCA it is merit based, one can clear or score well in the Karnataka PGCET by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).

However for courses like PhD, it is strictly entrance based.

Tumkur University is established under the Karnataka State University Act 2000, and is established on 2004.

The college offers various courses including PhD.

The college's admission works both merit and entrance based, it moreover depends on the programme one chooses to do.

For courses like MCA and MBA, Karnataka PGCET by KEA will be considered.

For PhD, it strictly relies of entrance and interviews.

Well, which is better could vary to one's preferences and choices.

Tumkur University being established under the Karnataka State University Act 2000, is obviously located at tumkur, and people who prefers the locality strictly could find the choice a compelling one.

Tumkur University was established on 2004 and is recognised by UGC and AIU, there are around 40 courses across 8 streams, the fee structure averages around 50k to 1.3 lacs depending upon the course.

It is not 100% confirm that you can get Tumkur University, MBA with 88%in Karnataka PGCET.

Cutoff score vary every year. It depends upon many factors difficulty of exams and no. of applications.Different MBA specializations in Tumkur University have different cutoff scores. So it is not specific that you can get in Tumkur University, Karnataka
