There is no age limit to appear in NET Exam for Lectureship but if you are going to apply for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) then the maximum age limit is 30 years. I hope it helps.

As per the UGC norms, the candidates must have completed the Masters degree from the UGC approved university to be eligible for the UGC NET exam. The candidates must have fulfill the eligibility criteria like 55% aggregate marks in post graduation. There is no age limit for NET lectureship but the age must be below 30 years for NET JRF. You can check the complete details for eligibility at official website. As you have completed your master's degree form the UGC Approved university, you are eligible to apply for the exam.

No, you can't apply for UGC NET Environmental Science. But if you want to become a researcher or lecturer then you can apply for CSIR NET Earth Sciences. It is an national level entrance test which is conducted for Science stream aspirants to examine the knowledge to holding of the position of assistant professor and research fellow. To appear for the exam you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category, then you must have minimum 50% aggregate marks.
