Yes, courses offered at Rabindranath Tagore University is approved by UGC-University Grants Commission. The university is also recognised by AICTE - All India Council for Technical Education, NCTE - National Council for Teacher Education, BCI - Bar Council of India, MP Paramedical Council. These recognitions are more than enough for any university to operate in India.

Of course, to secure admission at Kohima Law College, usually there is a stipulation that the qualifying degree that one has to complete (depending on the course) could be either 10+2 or graduation depending on the course, from a recognised UGC university. This allows the university ensures that the degree is accredited and meets the requirements put in place by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and other regulating authorities on the conduct of legal studies .

As per the decree of the University Grants Commission (UGC), starting July 2023, possessing a Ph.D. is mandatory to hold an appointment in Assistant Professor capacity in any Indian University.

Subscribing to UGC guidelines, UPES has its own set of faculty recruitment policies. For example, one of the recruitment notifications at UPES that are released recently for the Professor position reads: "the candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the concerned domain with an excellent academic track, covering research work and publications".

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) follows the norms set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the engagement of external examiners in Ph.D. programs of the university. The rules in the Ph.D. programme of the university state that there are two external examiners for a thesis, and one of them must be from a foreign country. External examiners would usually be professors or associate professors in a deemed or recognised university.

No, Microtek College of Management & Technology is not approved for distance mode of education. So, it can not provide distance learning programme. However, it offers full time UG courses like B. Sc, etc.

Yes, Malla Reddy University offers a B.Sc. in Agriculture course. The university is UGC approved and also accredited by NAAC, NBA, and AICTE. However, it is not accredited by ICAR. Despite this, the B.Sc. Agriculture degree from Malla Reddy University is considered valid.
