Yes, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the course of B.Tech in the field of Data Science (DS), which is conducted at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The SPPU, in itself, is a UGC-recognized and NAAC-accredited public university and all the programs that affiliate under SPPU are run as such.
This central approval is assumed by any Degree programme (B.Tech or equivalent) run at or under the aegis of SPPU, including Data Science. Kerala Several UGC-approved colleges provide B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology, several of them within the general university (Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Vimala College, St. Joseph College, Christ College, University College Thiruvananthapuram), and several others through affiliated colleges to Mahatma Gandhi University and Kannur University (St. Teresa College and MES Asmabi College). Yes, the B.Tech degree from LNCT University is valid since it is approved by UGC. For private universities, AICTE approval is not mandatory for individual courses if the university itself is recognised by UGC. So, your degree will be considered valid for jobs, higher studies, and other competitive exams, as long as the university remains UGC approved.
