In order to get admission to BDes at UID Delhi-NCR, students are required to pass Class 12 or 3 year Diploma in any stream from any recognised higher secondary board/ institute. The selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the UID DAT exam and Situation Test & Portfolio evaluation, which is conducted in offline mode.

UID Ahmedabad offers a four-year BDes programme with nine specializations, including BDes (Hons) and BDes (Global Design Programme). Admission is through UID DAT, a two-tier process involving the entrance exam, Situation Test, and Portfolio evaluation. Passed Class 12 or a three-year Diploma with a minimum 50% aggregate are eligible. Admission to the BDes programme at UID Ahmedabad is based on an entrance exam called UID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) and includes a two-tier selection process, which consists of qualifying for the UID DAT entrance exam and participating in the Situation Test and Portfolio evaluation round.

Marks for taking admission in B.Des at Karnavati University is not specified because every year they provide new cut offs as per availability of seats in college and enrolled by students so there is no specific marks but there is expected marks for taking admission in this institute.
