If you are applying in general category, then you need to score a minimum of 85percentile that too for HR. For MBA General or MBA IB you need around 90percentile. For reserved category, there can be slight relaxation in terms of CAT score.

Please follow the below steps for MBA registration of USB Chandigarh if meeting the USB eligibility criteria.

  1. Read carefully the UBS Handbook of Information.
  2. Register Online.
  3. Note down your Login ID and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also).
  4. Log in to your account to pay the fee online or download the fee challan. For paying through fee challan, take print out of the fee challan and deposit the fee at any branch of State Bank of India, a minimum of one day after printing of fee challan.

After clearing the CAT entrance test, candidates will have to appear for a further selection round. Admission criteria of IIMs and other B-schools include Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI).
And interviews are done in english languages

UBS Chandigarh is offering the MBA in following specializations as under. 1. MBA (HR)
2. MBA (International Business)3. MBA for Entrepreneurship
4. MBA for Executives
So, from UBS Chandigarh does not have MBA in Finance specialisation.

Candidates should need to score a minimum of 88 percentile for taking admission in the MBA course. However, In order to be eligible for Group Discussion and Personal Interview the candidate is required to have a minimum score of 10% ( 5% in case of served category) in each component of CAT. Also out of 100% 85% weightage will be given to the entrance exam scorecard for taking admission in the MBA course.

If you are talking about M.A. in HRM and LR the Unreserved cutoff was 74 and for armed forces it was 69.
For M.A. Globalisation and Labour, the cutoff was 69 for Unreserved. The Armed forces cutoff was 62.
In short: The general trend is that Armed forces Cutoffs are generally 5 to 7 marks below the Unreserved Cutoff.
