The University of Alabama offers on-campus employment which means that the student is paid by the university or work for an affiliated service that operates on-campus. The following are the conditions under which the student in F-1 or J-1 status will work on-campus:
· The student must be enrolled full-time during their academic year unless they are eligible for an exception
· For fall and Spring semesters, the students should not work for more than 20 hours every week which means that they can work for 20 hours while working on-campus
