Multiple unofficial sources say, the University of Amsterdam law acceptance rate is between 4-6%, whereas it is 30% for Leiden Law. Both universities are highly selective when it comes to LLM admission. But we can say University of Amsterdam is slightly tougher to enter than Leiden.

GMAT scores are one of the factors during admission and are submitted by students to improve their selection chances. There is no ideal score provided by students to get into the UvA MBA. According to the university student profile 2025, an average score of 715 was scored by the applicants who were selected.

There are four campuses of Amsterdam Uni. These campuses are City Centre Campus, Roeterseiland Campus, Amsterdam Science Park Campus, and Amsterdam UMC: Medical Sciences. The main campus of UvA is located in Central Amsterdam

University of Amsterdam acceptance rate is around 4% for Indian students. Looking at acceptance rate it can be said that Amsterdam University is very selective at time of admission. So Indian students should have outstanding academic record while taking admission to UvA.

To apply for Amsterdam Merit scholarship, students have to follow the steps given below: 

  • Submit the admissions application for the Uni of Amsterdam Master's courses
  • Then, receive the UvA student number
  • Next, fill out and submit the application form for Amsterdam Merit Scholarship. 
  • Documents that have to be submitted are CV, letter of motivation, id page of passport, financial documents, etc.

Amsterdam Merit Shcolarship is for the outstanding international students. The scholarship equals the tuition fees. The scholarship holders shall also receive their grant in monthly instalments.
