Both UoB campuses grant the exact same globally recognised degree. However, the choice of which is better varies for each student as per the career goals, budget, and lifestyle preferences.
UoB Dubai is better for Indian students looking for:
- Lower costs of living
- Close proximity to India
- Easy to adapt environment
- Career in the Asian market and tax benefits
- Smaller student body
The UK campus is a better choice for students interested in:

Yes, a degree from UoB Dubai is the same as the one delivered at the UK campus. Degrees at both campuses are granted by the Uni of Birmingham and carries the same Ivy League status.
The academic transcript will indicate the campus location. However, the degree certificate is identical to the one at the UK campus and does not say "Dubai".

The University of Birmingham Dubai provides career support to students. Individual careers advice from the International Careers Consultant and specialist careers advisers are offered.
Students can apply for coaching workshops and online tutorials for their guidance. The students of UoB have had the opportunity to work at several businesses across a range of disciplines through internships made available by the University of Birmingham Dubai including copywriter roles at Wunderman Thompson, Assistant Engineers at Atkins & Partners and Marketing Interns at LEGO.

No, students do not have to maintain a GPA or grades once they join, it also is automatic and does not have to be renewed. University of Birmingham Dubai provides some scholarships specifically to Indian students. In 2023, four scholarships of £2,500 was offered to Indian students. The scholarship is offered to the highest performing student pursuing a course from the university. Apart from these, UoB also offers other merit-based scholarships to students.

The application for MBA 2024 already closed on 30 August 2024 for home students. Ads you will complete you under graduation in June 2025 and apply in 2025 for MBA programm. The dates differ year to year.

The first year tuition fee for University of Birmingham Dubai MS course ranges between INR 29.3 Lakhs - INR 45.4 Lakhs as per the claim by an unofficial source. For all postgraduate programmes, students will be charged per year of study. Selected students need to pay the course fee once they recieve the confirmation letter.

The foundation pathways are suitable for candidates who have completed high school qualification that is below the equivalent standard of UK A levels, and therefore doesn't allow for direct entry to UG courses at UK universities. Check below the foundation UG criteria for Indian students:
