UCalgary International Entrance Scholarship is applicable for UG students entering in the first-year. The award value of this scholarship is CAD 2,000 (Around INR 1.2 lakh). The application to apply for this scholarship is the High School Prestige Awards Competition. This scholarship is renewable in the second, third, and fourth year.

The estimated University of Calgary fees for international students is CAD 28,460 – CAD 37,244 (Around INR 17.2 Lacs – INR 23 lakh) for the academic year 2024-25. Besides the tuition fees, students are required to pay the living expenses too.
So, General fees, books, and supplies will be CAD 1,900 – CAD 2,400 (Around INR 1.1 Lacs – INR 1.4 lakh) and the Residence and Meal plan expenses will be around CAD 8,675 – CAD 15,914 (Around INR 5.2 Lacs – INR 9.6 lakh).

For admission to UCalgary, the applicants are required to meet the minimum admission requirements. For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have completed High School education. For admission to Graduate courses, the applicants are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a First-class division. Also, pay the application fee of CAD 145 (Around INR 8,700) and submit the documents.

At the University of Calgary, there are more than 300 student clubs. There is a diverse range of student associations to clubs focused on Games, Dance, Science, Health & Wellness, and more. UCalgary MSc in CS course admission requirements are given as follows:
- A 4-year degree in Computer Science or another field with 3rd or 4th year courses in the following areas: Theory of Computation; Application; and Software Engineering
- A minimum of 3.3 GPA is required in the last 2 years of study
- Two reference letters
- GRE score (Optional). But, preference is given to students who have a GRE Verbal score of at least 600, 750 in Quantitative, and 720 in Analytical
