Hertfordshire Uni is an affordable option as it comes under budget. It costs around INR 14 L to INR 21 L for UG courses while PG tuition ranges between INR 13 L to INR 48 L. Students also need to budget for other expenses. This includes books, transportation, dorms and some personal costs. The annual rent for hostels varies somewhere between INR 4 Lakhs and INR 6 Lakhs. In general, Hertfordshire University requirement to get into the PG courses would be to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area at a level equivalent to a UK second-class Honors degree. Indian applicants should have completed a bachelor's degree with 55% - 65% or above, depending on the course. An IELTS score of 6.5 or 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band), depending on the course is required. Standard documents that may be required to apply are:
- Academic transcripts and certificates
- Passport photo page
- Personal statement
- References: Two signed references for PG applicants
- Immigration History evidence
- English language qualifica

The University of Hertfordshire King’s Award Scholarship is available for all PG-taught international applicants. It is a one-off payment for first-time applicants. The amount for this scholarship is £2,000 and to avail this scholarship, the applicants should have paid their full tuition deposit of £5,000 as per the specified date. Not available for UG applicants, and PG School of Health & Social Work Courses and Non-Standard courses in Law, OSPAP, Research, Pre-Sessional English, HIC or online courses.
