The university was established in 1920, and has over 550+ affiliated colleges and 15+institutes/centres. Lucknow University is recognised by UGC, AICTE, NCTE, BCI, among others, and offers more than 100 courses in both UG and PG fields. Yes, direct admission to the BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) course at Lucknow University may be possible in select cases, especially under management or vacant quota seats. A minimum 40% of marks and (33%for SC&ST) shall be obtained in the entrance exam in order to get admission in LU. There is no special specification for girl students, all of them are required to get atleast 33% if belonging to SC, ST.
