Getting into the University of Maryland is not as easy as the selection process of the university is competitive and only students with good academic qualification and excellent test scores along with all the documents such as passport, cv, essay and more have the chance to secure their place at the university.

The acceptance rate of the University of Maryland is 45% as per the unofficial source, that reflects that getting into the university is tough and only 45 studnets out of 100 applicants get their enrollment at the university.

The Univeristy of Maryland takes nearly 10 business days to considered the application as the complete and received after getting all the documents and requiremnts.

However, there is no specific timeline stated by the university for reviewing the application and share the decision on the same. The univerisyt mentioned that if the application is received on Nov 1 then there are the chances that students will receive their application decision by Feb 1, which means, the University of Maryland takes 2 to 3 months to review the application.

Yes, the University of Maryland has a test-optional popicy that means, studnets who are appling at the university can decide whether they are willing to submiit their standarized test scores or not as the university with not review the application on the basis of standarized test scores but the scores submitted at the university will help the students to ehnace their portfolio and can be beneficaila for the scholarship programs and awards.

No, taking admission at the University of Maryland for the Master of Science course doesnot require the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores to the students; however, students are required to attain 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 65% in the final year or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

International students are required to submit the English language test scores along with other supporting documents as well.

No, the University of Maryland does not redquire the GRE scores as a part of compulsory entry requirement for the graduate programs. 

students are required to hold a 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 65% in the final year or a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered for the admission at the University of Maryland graduate program.

Moreover, intenational students are also required to provide the proof of their English language test scores as a part of necessary requirement.
