No, the University of New England is not a member of the illustrious Go8 institutions. The Go8 institutions are considered the benchmark of quality education & world class learning environment in Australia & is the country's equivalent to the United States' Ivy League.
Despite that, the education stands out for offering a good standard of education at reasonable costs & thus can be considered a good value for studies abroad.

The University of New England acceptance rate stands at around 80%. This suggests, the institute is somewhat selective at admitting students & securing a seat at the institute is relatively easy as compared to some other institutions.
Interested candidates must still perform well in past academics & maintain a solid professional resume to have a good chance of admissions.
