This is always recommended. The loan is released in installments and you need to inform them prior when you need the money for semester fees, rents etc. If you work part time you may choose not to ask for the installments and save yourself from the cummulative interest later. SBI education loan is recommended, talk to the bank concerned, they have an entire process!

University of Saskatchewan is a reputed university, however for mechanical engineering you may also look at University of Waterloo, University of Ottawa, University of Toronto, McMaster University, McGill University and University of Alberta.
