The University of Saskatchewan has an acceptance rate of 73%, suggesting the insititute is somewhat selective at granting admissions to its students. McMaster University acceptance rate stands at 59%. Thus it can be said that McMaster University is relatively tougher to secure admissions at than Saskatchewan.
Though it is worth noting that McMaster also ranks above University of Saskatchewan as part of the latest Shiksha Popularity Rankings, with a rank of #6, while UOS ranks #15.

Here are the general University of Saskatchewan requirements for international students:
- UG: The applicants should have passed high school. Make sure to meet the minimum specific percentage as well. For some of the course, the minimum required percentage is 70%
- PG: To take admission to master's courses, the applicants should have a bachelor's degree. At least 70% is required. For PG Diploma courses, an average of 65% is required. For admission to PhD courses, the applicants are required to have a master's degree
