No, on campus housing is not guaranteed for Indian students at the Saskatchewan Uni Canada. There are many on-campus housing options available to Indian students. But the spots are limited and applying early is important. Students can apply for USask housing via the Residence Services website.

Yes, there are several dining halls on the USask campus that serve Indian food. This includes the Marquis Culinary Centre. The centre serves several Indian dishes including butter chicken, aloo gobi, basmati rice, chaat, and naan bread.

Da India Curry Xpreess also serves Indian food. The Indian Students' Association (ISA) also hosts events where Indian food is served.

Students can apply for scholarships at the Uni of Saskatchwan via the PAWS portal. All one needs to do is create an account on the portal, search for the scholarship and submit an online application.

Students should have an admission offer in hand to be eligible for financial support from USask Canada.

Students will be charged 1% monthly interest on all outstanding tuition and fees. The late payment charges will continue to accumulate untill all fees at USask Canada is paid in full.

A hold on the student account will be places which would also see the suspension of some services. Students will not be able to add classes or change section, view grades, of register for classes in the upcoming terms.

Indian students need to pay a initial deposit worth CAD 1,000 (INR 67.4 K) at USask. The deposit is usually due within 30 days of receiving admission offer.

Only after paying this would Indian students be eligible to receive their PAL from the university.

Yes, students can their course at the USask but this can only be done within specific deadlines. Late changes to the choice of course may be allowed but in that case would lead to a fine or penalty

To change courses at USask, students can follow the steps below -

  • Log in to the PAWS account
  • Visit the registration tab and use the add/drop class feature to manage your schedule

Some courses like engineering may require students to consult their academic advisor before a change can be made.

Yes, Indian UG students would need a Provinicial Attestation Letter (PAL) to study in Canada. However, Master's or PhD students don't need a PAL to study here. To get a PAL, students will need to accept their admission offer and pay the initial fee deposit to confirm their seat.

USask will then initiate the process of obtaining your PAL from the government authorities.
