St. Gallen University is located in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Majority of the courses of this university are taught in Rosenberg Campus. From St. Gallen, Zurich airport is only 1 hour away from train or car. Trains runs from the main train station of Zurich and Zurich airport to St. Gallen every 20 minutes. The journey takes around 1 hour

For the Master's graduates, the placement rate is 92% and for the Bachelor's graduates, the outcomes rate is 74%

As per the official facts, over 80% of the graduates of HSG have an employment after graduation. Each year, 400+ companies recruit students from the St. Gallen University. The university has mentioned that for Master's graduates the placement rate is 92% and for Bachelor's graduates, the placement rate is 74% in 6 months.

For international students, the University of St. Gallen fees vary as per the course levels. The tution fees is given below: 

  • UG: CHF 3,129 per semester (Around INR 3.5 L)
  • PG: CHF 3,329 per semester (Around INR 3.75 L)
  • Joint Medical Master: CHF 10,078 per semester (Around INR 11.3 L)
  • PhD: CHF 1,079 per semester (Around INR 1.2 L)

The documents that have to be submitted to this university for admissions include GMAT / GRE, passport copy, transcripts, CV, degree documents, etc. Admission to this university for foreign students is in the Autumn semester.

In world university rankings by the Times Higher Education rankings, the University of St Gallen ranks at #351-400. Whereas, in the QS rankings, HSG ranks at #436. Also, in the Financial Times subject rankings for 2025, the following courses are ranked as follows:

Yes, Uni of St Gallen teaches in English. Around 14 Master's level courses are offered in English. The study areas of these Master's courses are General Management, Marketing Management, Economics, Quantitative Economics and Finance, International Law, etc. 4 courses are also available at the Bachelor's level of HSG.
