For international students, the University of St. Gallen fees vary as per the course levels. The tution fees is given below: 

  • UG: CHF 3,129 per semester (Around INR 3.5 L)
  • PG: CHF 3,329 per semester (Around INR 3.75 L)
  • Joint Medical Master: CHF 10,078 per semester (Around INR 11.3 L)
  • PhD: CHF 1,079 per semester (Around INR 1.2 L)

Founded in 1898, St. Gallen University is a public research university in Switzerland. Around 10,000 students are studying at this university. HSG offers courses in English. At the Master's level,  10+ courses in English are offered. HSG is one of the leading Business school in Switzerland, with its MIM course ranking at #1 in the Financial Times rankings

In world university rankings by the Times Higher Education rankings, the University of St Gallen ranks at #351-400. Whereas, in the QS rankings, HSG ranks at #436. Also, in the Financial Times subject rankings for 2025, the following courses are ranked as follows: 

  • MIM: #1
  • Masters in Finance: #9
  • MBA: #63

There is no fixed GMAT score required for admission in the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. However,650 and above is the most safe score to be considered by the admission committee. Apart from the GMAT scores, other factors that play a major role in admission include  years of work experience (two to three years), proficiency in English language, quality of the essays, letter of recommendations, references, and in-person interviews collectively decide the admission decision.

International students have to meet the below University of St. Gallen requirements to apply for undergraduate and graduate admissions:

For Undergraduate Admission

·      A foreign upper secondary school leaving certificate

·      Submit the evidence of English language proficiency

·      Due to limited seats for foreign applicants, candidates are admitted only through a selection procedure

For Graduate Admission

·      Must have a bachelor’s degree (3 years) or a Diploma (4 years) with a minimum of 180 ECTS-C
