University of the Pacific is not the most competitive university to get into, as its acceptance rate stands at 94.8%. This figure tells us that almost 93 out of every 100 applicants manage to get enrolled in the university, which is more than half of all the applicants.

University of the Pacific permits all students holding a student visa and awarded the FWS (Federal Work Study) are eligible to work while studying in the university. It must be noted that receiving a FWS allocation does not guarantee students a position. Students are allowed to work maximum 20 hours per week while their classes are in session.

University of the Pacific hosts a lot of campus activities such as a movie theatre on campus, events and more, for students to enjoy their time while studying in the university. Apart from on-campus activities, students can hangout and explore the beauty that the city of Stockton has to offer. Students can visit Miracle mile if they want to enjoy meals in good restaurants or wine tasting in Lodi. In order to make the weekends more fun while staying on-campus, students can join clubs or engage in co-curricular and social activities.

University of the Pacific comprises of three campuses across Northern California, located in Sacramento, San Francisco and Stockton.

  • Stockton Campus is a sprawling175-acre residential campus consisting of undergraduate, graduate and professional degree students. It is located in the heart of the city and has close proximity to Sacramento, San Francisco, the Napa Valley and Yosemite.

International applications are accepted at University of the Pacific through the website's International Student Application Portal. While applying to UOP, applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  • Completed online application along with USD 55 = INR 4,585* application fee;
  • Official academic transcripts
  • Official or certified copies of academic records for all secondary and post-secondary study (UG);
  • Course-by-course foreign transcript evaluations (PG);
  • English language proficiency score;
  • SAT/ACT score (UG);
  • GRE score (PG);
  • Personal statement;
  • Letters of recommendations;
  • Copy of passport; and
  • Certification of finances.
