University of Toronto has a range of constituent, federated, theological, and postgraduate colleges and these are given as follows:

·      Innis College

·      New College

·      University College

·      Woodsworth College

·      St. Michaels College

·      Trinity College

·      Victoria College

According to the Fall 2023-24 data, University of Toronto had more than 17,000 full time students joining the First Entry undergraduate programs and the students living on each of the three campuses are given as follows:

·      9,551 students at the St. George Campus

·      4,224 students at the Mississauga Campus

·      3,428 students at the Scarborough Campus

The First entry programs at the university include the Arts and Sciences, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Music and the Transitional Year programme.

UToronto has 3 campuses in Greater Toronto Area and locations are given as follows -

St George Campus – It is famous to be oldest and most central campus is in Downtown Toronto area.
Mississauga Campus – Campus is located on west of Toronto is known for its world class research environment and being home to largest biotech companies.
Scarborough Campus – The campus is known for being a global leader in research and offers a range of co op programs in more than 45 disciplines. 

University of Toronto offer good life for students on campus. U of T also provide many study options with social, cultural, wellness, etc initiatives. Each campus of this university focus on offering students with support they require, various opportunities and resources that will help them reach full potential.

University of Toronto was founded by the royal charter in the year 1827 as King's College which is the first institution of higher learning in Canada.  It is known to be a collegiate university and comprises 11 colleges along with three campuses in locations such as St George (Downtown Toronto), Mississauga (West Toronto) and Scarborough (Eastern Toronto). The oldest campus of the university is the St George campus.

If you belong to a country where English is not the native language, you will have to provide proof of English language proficiency with the help of exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, etc. The University of Toronto does accept TOEFL scores. In the case of TOEFL iBT, the University of Toronto requires at least 100 with a minimum of 22 in Writing. The discretionary range of TOEFL score is from 89 to 99 with at least 22 in Writing. In the case of paper-delivered TOEFL, the University reviews each application individually.

Both are very selective at granting admissions to students & only consider highly qualified individuals. The universities are neck & neck in terms of their acceptance rates, with the University of McGill acceptance rate standing at 48%, while that of University of Toronto is around 74-76%. It can be said that U of T is marginally easier to secure admisisons at as compared to McGill Uni.

Candidates interested in admissions at either institute must perform really well in past academics & university level exams & maintain a professional resume that stands out from the rest to have the best possible chance of securing a seat.
