Both the universities – McGill University and the University of Toronto are great universities and the decision to choose between these universities is dependent on personal preferences, about the specific program, the culture and environment, etc. However, some of the points according to some of the reviews over an unofficial source are:
- University of Toronto’s admissions standards are somewhat lower than McGill University, particularly in some programs like Business
- McGill students tend to have a stronger sense of school pride / spirit
- McGill University is much more international when it comes to the diversity of stude

Here are the Uni of Toronto Masters of Data Science requirements:
- Completed or be in the process of completing an undergraduate degree
- A standing equivalent to B+ (77% - 79%) in their final year of study
- English language proficiency requirement
- Work experience is preferred, but not required
- Copies of all academic transcripts
- Resume / CV
- Answers to program-specific questions
- Details of three referees
- GRE test scores (if applicable)
- Any other relevant information that applicants want to share such as links to projects, research papers, etc.

The University of Toronto fees for Masters of Science in Applied Computing in Data Science programme for international students is CAD 77,800 (INR 49 Lakh). This tuition fee is for Sep 2024 programme start date. The applicants can apply for the scholarships that the university grants for graduate programs. Furthermore, international students may be eligible to apply from international student loan companies such as Prodigy Finance or MPower Financing.

The University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, and McMaster University are among the top universities in Canada for international studnets. The University of Toronto is a highly respected institution with a top-ranked nursing program, but it may come with a higher cost of tuition. Confederation College, on the other hand, offers a more economical option with access to education loans and scholarships. But the University of Toronto is also ranked as the top nursing school in Canada according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 and University of Toronto is also a highly respected reputation in the medical profession as compared to Confederation College.

Confederation College is generally considered to be a more affordable option compared to the University of Toronto.
The University of Toronto's undergraduate tuition fees range from $14,070 to $50,440 for international students, while graduate tuition fees range from $2,797 to $11,484 for Canadian students and $17,002 to $18,913 for international students.
On the other hand, Confederation College's tuition fees for international students range from CAD$16,000 to CAD$32,000.

The University of Toronto has three campuses:
- Mississauga campus
- St. George campus
- Scarborough campus
The Mississauga campus of the U of T is the oldest and main campus. This campus offers 148 programs in 89 areas of study across its 15 academic departments. This campus is home to Institute of Communication, Culture, Information and Technology.
The St. George campus is home to seven colleges; Innis College, New College, St. Michael's College, Trinity College, University College, Victoria College and Woodsworth.

Students will receive an acknowledgment from the university, with login instructions about two weeks after submitting Toronto University application for undergraduate courses. In the case of graduate programs, the decision on the application will vary by graduate unit, and is affected by the number of applications received. Some early offers of admission are sent out in January or February, but, the majority of offers normally come in March. Generally, the University of Toronto advises applicants to expect a response by April, although decisions continue to be made after this too.

As per facts of 2021, the total number of students in all three campuses of the University of Toronto was 97,066. More than 20,000 international students were enrolled in the undergraduate programs and over 4,500 international students were enrolled in the graduate programs. India is at No. 2 position out of all the 15 countries from where students came to study at the University of Toronto.

Univ of Toronto application fee for the MBA programme is CAD 195 and is non-refundable. Applications will not be considered complete until all required documents are received and application fee is paid. This fee can be paid via credit card, debit card or wire money transfer. For candidates who have received offers of admission, a non-refundable deposit of CAD 5,000 is required to confirm their attendance in the program.
