Once you've applied via UCAS, a copy of the application form will be sent to the university. A thorough analysis will be done of your personal statement, qualifications, and references. You may also be asked to appear for an interview or send a portfolio for some of the programs. After this, the decision will be conveyed to you via the UCAS track.

Yes, it is mandatory to provide at least 1-2 references while applying for a programme at the University of West London. One of the references should be related to your present work and the other to any the latest study programme you've pursued.

If you're an international student who does not meet the English language proficiency requirements for pursuing a UG or a PG course, you can get yourself enrolled for one of the university's pre-sessional English language courses which will help you polish your writing as well as verbal English skills.

For the different levels of courses, the minimum IELTS score requirement has been set differently. There are certain programs that may need a higher score. Following are the scores mandatory for different course levels: Undergraduate (BA, BAcc, BEng, BSc): 5.5 - 6.0. Postgraduate Taught (MA, MSc): 5.5 - 6.0. Postgraduate Research (MRes, MPhil, PhD, DBA, DProf): 6.0 - 6.5.
