The BBA at University of Winnipeg is a 4-year undergraduate degree. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programme offered by the Department of Business and Administration is intended for students who want to work in business, whether in the private, public, or non-profit sectors. The programme emphasizes critical thinking, analytic and decision-making ability, oral and written communication skills, and the self-confidence to apply these qualities successfully. It also prepares students for managerial positions and future business administration studies such as an MBA or other graduate degree programs. Several unique and targeted Concentration Areas:

All applicants, both full-time and part-time, whose prior education was done outside of Canada and in which English may or may not have been the medium of instruction, are required to submit ONE of the following English language proficiency tests:

• TOEFL iBT - A minimum score of 86, with a minimum of 20 in each component*.

The University of Winnipeg offers on-campus residences where students can live on their own, and participate in a variety of activities. McFeetors Hall (Student Residence) offers various room options, including both single and double furnished dorms as well as family options. The residence cost of a single furnished dorm with meal plan at McFeetors Hall is dependent on Board of Regents approval in the summer of 2023 at the University of Winnipeg.

The university also has the Balmoral Houses which offer shared common areas and private bedrooms with air-conditioning. Here, the cost of a single furnished dorm is CAD 5,560 or INR 3,40,124.24 as per academic year 2024.

Lion’s Manor is another residence with furnished dorm rooms, Bachelor studios and one-bedroom apartments. Students can also consider few unfurnished Bachelor studios and one-bedroom apartments. The cost of rooms ranges from CAD 469 or INR 39,701 per month to CAD 1,876  or INR1,14,761.35 per four-month term.

International students can also select Downtown Commons which offers suites with affordable student rents. International students who are interested in off-campus housing can opt for homestays where they can have furnished private bedroom with all the facilities and three meals along with the experience of living with a Canadian family. The cost of homestays ranges from CAD 3,000 to CAD 6,500 or INR 1.83L - 4L.

The application process at the Uni of Winnipeg involves the following steps-

-Check requirements of the course of choice

-Create an online account with personal email and password.

-PG applicants must connect with potential supervisors who can sponsor the application and supervisor of academic projects.

-Fill the online application and submit it by paying application fee

-Check their email accounts for confirmation email from the university and login details of WebAdvisor.

-Submit the supporting documents via mail or courier to the university address.

-Check WebAdvisor for offer of admission which they should accept within the specified deadline.

International students are required to meet eligibility requirements, including general academic criteria, English language proficiency, and program-specific requirements. Along with academic requirements, the students need to fulfill the following specific eligibility as per the level of the program: 

Undergraduate Level Requirements:

• All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate

• Minimum 67 per cent (C1) average in academic subjects for CBSE and CISCE; minimum B average in academic subjects for PSEB; minimum average of 70 per cent for AISSC

• IELTS Academic: An overall band score of 6.5 or better

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 86 overall with minimum 20 in each section

• Duolingo English Test (DET): A minimum score of 120.

Graduate Level Requirements (Master's program):

• Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree or a master's degree from an institution recognised by University of Winnipeg

• Overall grade required: 55 per cent, higher with a minimum standing of Second Class; 7 out of 10-point scale

• English language requirements as per the programme applied for

• Plan of study, Letters of Recommendation (LOR), and Duolingo1 Vitae (CV)
