As per the official data, the University of Worcester has one of the best records of graduate employment in the country. In the Government-published Longitudinal Educational Outcomes Survey (2017 and 2020), Worcester has been placed in the top 10 for sustained employment with or without further study, one, two, or three years post-graduation. As per the Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020, 94.6% of Worcester are in work or further study 15 months after graduation.

The University is ranked joint 5th in the 2021 People and Planet University Sustainability League. It was also named Sustainability Institution of the year in the Green Gown Awards 2019.

The most recent rankings, which emphasise the contributions made by universities throughout the world to achieve the internationally agreed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which the United Nations endorsed in 2016, placed Worcester third in the UK for quality education. Ever since the rankings were introduced in 2019, it has consistently ranked in the top five in the UK for quality education. Additionally, the university consistently ranks in the top 5 institutions in the UK for gender equality, this year topping the list.
