Yes, there is a UVCE boys hostel near to the college and girls hostel is also available, but it is a bit far from the college location. Boys and girls hostels are available at Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.
The girl's hostel is at Jnana Bharathi, while the boy's hostel is on the city campus.

UVCE was the only engineering college under Bangalore University, but at present UVCE has been seperated from BU and it is now an autonomous college.
The university is known for turning out excellent engineers.

According to the academic year 2021-22, total intake is 704 for B.Tech ,40 for B.Arch and 392 for M.Tech. Specifically in B.Tech-

There is no particular dress code or uniform at the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. It's left to the students, whatever attire they are comfortable in, they can wear that. No, there is no chance of direct admission or management quota for admission to the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. One can only admit through KCET or JEE exam or any other entrance exams. Being a public institution, UVCE rigorously bases admissions on the entrance exam rank and cut-

Nothing to be worried about that, if someone misses internals then we can request the subject teacher or HOD with the valid reason for absence and then they will give u a chance to write the exam, if you misssed it because of some medical emergency or any other appropriate reason then the exam for

As the evaluation takes place based on the CBCS scheme, for a semester 50% of the marks will be considered from the end semester exams and other 50% of the marks will be considered based on Internal Assessment test.

There is a mess facility at the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, which provides food three times a day, and the food is pretty decent. The college provides different varities of vegetarian food in breakfast, south indian in lunch, etc. There is also a Nandini canteen near the college.

UVCE boys hostel is so nearer to the college. It is located besides the arts college, behind city civil court. And for girls the hostel is located in J B campus, Bangalore University. As the area where the college is located contains lots of government offices or building, can't find PGs nearby. One
