No, since the board has reduced the syllabus by 30%, it is not considered tough. The level of questions are asked in the exam are easy to moderate. Even if any student find it tough, it can be completed by the sincere preparation.

The board will announce the UP Board intermediate time table 2026 for the compartment exams after the declaration of annual UP Board 12th result 2026. However, the board is likely to announce the UP 12th compartment time table 2026 in June/July 2026. It is expected that the compartment exams will be conducted in July 2026.

In 2025, UP Board 12th compartment exams were held on July 26, 2025.

The first phase of UPMSP class 12 practicals was conducted from January 24 to February 1, 2026, and second phase between February 2 and 9, 2026. Students can check the detailed UPMSP class 12 practical exam dates on this page. The theory exams of UP Board 12th 2026 will be held between February 18 and March 12, 2026 in pen and paper format.

No, the exams are conducted offline (pen and paper mode). Students are provided OMR answer sheet and answer sheet to write subjective type question during the exam.

The UP Board Class 12 syllabus is not considered very tough among the students. It is based on NCERT and is similar to the CBSE class 12 syllabus. UPMSP Intermediate syllabus covers a wide range of topics in all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Business Studies, Economics, Politican Science and more. Overall, with dedication and the right resources, students can cover the entire UP 12th syllabus.

To pass UP Board 12th exams, you need minimum 33% in each subject (theory & practical).

UP Board 12th Result 2026 will be announced on April 23, 2026. At least a day before releasing the result, the board will announce an exact UPMSP 12th result date 2026. The state education minister and board officials will release the UP 12th result 2026 in a press meet. Thereafter, upresults nic in 2026 class 12 will also be activated online on board's website at upmsp.edu.in and results.upmsp.edu.in.

For 2025 exams, UPMSP released the UP Board result 2025 class 12 on April 25, 2025 at 12.30 pm.
