Students must be thorough with the UP 12th revised syllabus well in time. Students can follow the preparation tips provided on this page. Apart from that, the board also releases the subject-wise preparation tips for which, we have also provided the direct links on this page. They must start early to leave ample time for revision at the end.

No, since the board has reduced the syllabus by 30%, it is not considered tough. The level of questions are asked in the exam are easy to moderate. Even if any student find it tough, it can be completed by the sincere preparation.

The board will announce the UP Board intermediate time table 2026 for the compartment exams after the declaration of annual UP Board 12th result 2026. However, the board is likely to announce the UP 12th compartment time table 2026 in June/July 2026. It is expected that the compartment exams will be conducted in July 2026.

In 2025, UP Board 12th compartment exams were held on July 26, 2025.

The first phase of UPMSP class 12 practicals was conducted from January 24 to February 1, 2026, and second phase between February 2 and 9, 2026. Students can check the detailed UPMSP class 12 practical exam dates on this page. The theory exams of UP Board 12th 2026 will be held between February 18 and March 12, 2026 in pen and paper format.

No, the exams are conducted offline (pen and paper mode). Students are provided OMR answer sheet and answer sheet to write subjective type question during the exam.

The UP Board Class 12 syllabus is not considered very tough among the students. It is based on NCERT and is similar to the CBSE class 12 syllabus.
