I got 120 marks in UPSEE (paper 6) and general rank 1966 & OBC 949. Can I get a government college for CS?

Yes, you can get government college for CS if you do the counselling wisely and choose the colleges in the list wisely.

No, it depends on the number of candidates who have chosen IET Lucknow and as almost 20 percent are chosen for lateral entry in each branch. Also, it has become the top college in Lucknow so it is easy to get IET.

Should I get admission in B.Tech college? I got 9.6 CGPA in 10th and 70% in 12th and 80000 rank in UPSEE.

Yes, you can get admission though your UPSEE marks are not good enough to get you a seat in good college. Try to get any good private college if you can.
