For B.Tech. programmes, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) provides a number of scholarships, one of which is the Merit Scholarship, which waives all tuition costs for students beginning with their first semester. Students will receive a full tuition waiver if they are admitted based on the following ACPC and JEE Main rank banks for different courses. School of Petroleum Technology at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University accepts only Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs. There is no alternative entrance exam accepted. For the B.Sc. (Hons.) program, students must have passed the 12th standard examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Additionally, students with less than 70% score in the respective board examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission.

As per verified student's reviews, UPES School of Advanced Engineering is a hub of diverse opportunities. There are various events and cultural fests held at UPES School of Advanced Engineering. The college has received 3.9 as overall Shiksha rating which is quite good. The food in canteen is good. There students will get to meet new friends and hence enjoy while studying.
