The UPPSC admit card is the most important document for the candidates because they are required to show their admit card to secure their entry to the examination centre. The Commission mention and inform the candidates about their exam city and centre through the admit card only. There is no other way to know the exam centre.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will release the UPPSC 2025 admit card around 10 days before the exam. The Commission is expected to release the UPPSC admit card 2025 on October 3, 2025.

The candidates can download their admit card from the official website - uppsc.up.nic.in. The Commission released two direct links for the candidates to download their UPPSC admit card 2024.

The most important document needed to show up for the exam is the UPPSC admit card. Up till the day of the exam, students can download their UPPSC admit card from the official website. The students will receive official information regarding the exam centre and shift timing on their UPPSC admit card. No, candidates cannot request to change their examination centre after the release of the UPPSC admit card. The examination centre allotted to candidates is final and cannot be changed. Such requests will not be entertained by the Commission. The Commission has the discretionary power to allot the UPPSC exam centre to the candidate. It is mentioned in the official notification that the request to change the examination centre will not be entertained.

The UPPSC prelims exam is conducted in 19 districts in the state and the UPPSC PCS main exam is conducted in three cities namely Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

UPPSC admit card is released by the Commission to authorise the candidates to appear in the UPPSC exam. The details mentioned in the official UPPSC admit card are taken from the application form of the candidate.

The UPPSC admit card contains details such as the

  • candidate's name
  • registration number 
  • examination centre 

date and time of examination, and other important instructions for the exam. 

The candidates should check the details printed on the application and compare them with the admit card. In case of any variance, they should immediately report it to the Commission.

The candidates should download the UPPSC PCS admit card from the official link only. The candidates should check all their details such as

  • Name
  • Fathers Name
  • Mothers Name
  • Date of Birth

printed on the admit card. The details mentioned in the UPPSC admit card are taken from the official records as filled in the application form. These are the reflection of the official records and become the part of candidates' dossier in the Department of Personal.

 Yes, it is mandatory to carry UPPSC admit card to the examination centre. Without the UPPSC admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The admit card is the authorisation letter which authorises the candidate to appear in the UPPSC exam. The candidates will be allowed entry into the examination centre only if they have a valid UPPSC admit card.

Along with the UPPSC admit card, the candidates are required to carry one photo identity proof to establish their identity when asked for at the examination centre.
