UPTAC Counselling

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University commenced the UPTAC counselling registration 2024 on the official website. Applicants with valid JEE Main 2024 score can complete the UPTAC counselling registration 2024 at uptac.admissions.nic.in. The admission process of UPTAC 2024 comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment and document verification. The registration process of UPCET BTech counselling is available in online mode only. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the UPTAC counselling application form 2024.   

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University offers admission to engineering courses based on JEE Main 2024 score. Applicants must have a valid JEE score to secure admission. Applicants have to fill their JEE application number at the time of filling the exam. For Architecture admissions, applicants need NATA exam score. Applicants are advised to keep their entrance exam details handy at the time of UPTAC counselling application form.    

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University conducts the UPTAC counselling in four rounds. The additional round of UPTAC counselling 2026 will be conducted for government institutes only. If seats remain vacant then authorities may conduct further rounds. For UPTAC extended round counselling, applicants have to complete fresh registration with fee payment. Candidates are advised to keep track of the official website to check counselling schedule.

The exam authority verify all the documents uploaded by candidates at the time of UPTAC registration. Candidates are advised to upload all the documents as per the specifications mentioned in the official notification. In case of any discrepancy in documents uploaded by candidates, AKTU will inform students to re-upload documents. In case of any discrepancy in any document, AKTU reserves the right to disqualify a candidate from the admission process.  

Yes, applicants allotted seat at the time of UPTAC counselling seat allotment have to report at the institute as per the schedule. Candidates need to report at the institute before the last date for admission confirmation. Applicants have to carry all the documents and xerox copies at the time of physical reporting. Applicants who fail to report at the allotted institute will be disqualified from the admission process. Candidates are advised to keep track of UPTAC counselling dates 2026 to never miss any event related to the admission process. 

After accepting a seat allotted during UPTAC counselling seat allotment, applicants will be given a chance to withdraw their seat. The exam authority will deduct INR 5000 & INR 3000 fee for freeze and float options respectively. Candidates must note AKTU will not allow candidates to participate in the further rounds after withdrawing their allotted seats. Candidates are advised to be double sure before withdrawing their seats.   

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University will release the UPTAC counselling 2024 seat allotment date along with the official notification. Applicants who complete the choice filling process can check their UPTAC seat allotment result through login credentials. The exam authority releases the UPTAC counselling seat allotment 2024 on the basis of choices filled by the candidates. The seat allotment result of UPTAC counselling will be released separately for all the rounds in online mode.
