The candidates have to pay an applicable fee to complete the registration fee. The registration fee for UPTAC counselling 2025 is INR 1000 for all candidates irrespective of category and gender.

The application fee can be paid online only using modes like net banking/debit card/credit card.

The candidates have to register for UPTAC 2025 with the application number of the applicable entrance exam application number. The centralised counselling is held based on various national-level entrance exam scores as given below:

Age limit: There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in the counselling.

Nativity: Check various nativity requirements for the UPTAC counselling 2025 below:

• This counselling is open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP or whose parents are domicile of U.P subject to the eligibility conditions. If the candidate has passed the qualifying examination from outside UP, he/she has to upload the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of registration for online verification and to be produced in the original at the time of offline verification during physical reporting at the Institute where the seat has been allotted.
• This counselling is also open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located outside UP and whose parents (both Father and mother) are not domicile of UP subject to the eligibility conditions given in the Information Brochure.

• Passed 10+2 examination and Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the subjects taken together. OR Passed the Dvoc stream in the same or allied sector.

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed a minimum 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

B Tech (Bio-Technology) and B Tech (Agriculture)

MBA	Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination
MCA	Passed BCA/ BSc (Computer Science)/ BSc (IT) / BE (CSE)/ BTech (CSE) / BE (IT) /BTech (IT) or equivalent Degree. OR Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: BE / BTech / B.Sc / BCom / BA/ BVoc/ etc.) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

UPTAC Counselling Registration 2025 

In the first step, candidates have to register for the UPTAC 2025 counselling process. The following steps can be checked to successfully register for counselling. 

• Go to uptac.admissions.nic.in 
• Click on the registration link. 
• Candidates will have to click on 'New Candidate Registration' and agree to the instructions. 
• Next, they will have to provide their JEE Main 2025/required entrance exam application number, name, mother's name, date of birth and gender. 
• A password has to be created. 
• The required details have to be filled out by the candidates. 

Upload Documents 

• The scanned photograph and signature have to be uploaded as per the official specifications. 
• Other specified and required documents must be uploaded by the candidates to claim various reservation or benefits.

Pay Counselling Registration Fee 

• The candidates will have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/debit card/credit card.

After the UPTAC counselling registration, candidates have to uploas the necessary documents, which are verified online by the verification officers. Queries raised by the verification officer, if needed, under the login of the candidates must be responded by the candidates.

Once te queries are reolved and the documents are approved, candidates can proceed to fill choices.  The candidates who have successfully registered for the UPTAC BTech counselling 2025 can fill and edit their choices of colleges and courses on the official website of UPTAC - uptac.admissions.nic.in. For UPTAC choice filling 2025, candidates have to log in with their JEE Main application number and password. Under the UPTAC counselling login portal, candidates can fill out their choices in order of preference. Based on the choices filled by the candidates and their JEE Main ranks, UPTAC counselling seat allotment will be done.
