The UPTAC counselling eligibility criteria for BTech & M.Tech (Integrated) course is:

Passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the subjects taken together.

OR

Passed D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.

No. Candidates DO NOT need to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of online UPTAC application form to the University. However, the candidate should keep the printout of the Confirmation page for record. Candidates are also advised to note down the Application Form Number for any future correspondence.

If any document/declaration submitted in UPTAC counselling is found invalid or false at any stage, then admission of the candidate will be cancelled. They may also be liable for legal procedures. In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be limited to Lucknow courts only.

To claim the advantage of reserved categories, sub-categories, rural weightage etc. candidate is required to fill/select appropriate field in the Application Form. These certificates, in original, will have to be produced at the time of physical reporting at the Institute where seat has been allotted,  along with one self-attested copy of each one of them.

Some important documents that are needed are as follows:

  1. Academic documents: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates, relevant entrance exam admit card and scorecard, and transfer certificate or migration certificate

There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in the UPTAC counselling. candidates can check the details of the UPTAC counselling process online on the official website uptac.admissions.nic.in. All candidates rehistering for the exam must carefully read and understand the counselling process and complete the registration. All rounds of the UPTAC 2025 counselling process must be completed as per the deadline only.

In UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling), seat allotment for reserved categories is primarily based on category rank within the respective reservation quotas. However, the process also considers the candidate's overall (CRL) rank and the availability of seats in the chosen category. Initially, seats are often allocated based on the overall merit list (CRL), but once those seats are filled, the process shifts to considering category ranks for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and EWS.
