Hi Sakshi, Early Action as the name suggests, you will be notified of the decisions in a month. Regular and non early action rounds take longer. Make sure you submit your entire application material if you apply under Early Action. Standford's early action has certain norms to be followed, you cannot apply to any other university under Early Action. Check the policy here http://admission.stanford.edu/application/decision_process/restrictive.html and also check the link given by Chetna S. You have time until Nov 1, all the best!

No universities in any other country except India has placements facility or guarantee for jobs as they work in a different manner. During the course, you are trained so well in all aspects like resume writing, interview skills, networking opportunities etc that you can apply for a job yourself. Also, the internships and projects give you excellent exposure.

Hello, with regards to PR Australia is the better option. The country also offers work permit to international students. The University Of Melbourne, The University Of Sydney and The University Of New South Wales are world known. It is however a well known fact that USA is home to all the top universities. But there is little chance of PR options.

The query is slightly confusing. What do you plan to do? If you want to establish your career in engineering, go for MS. You can choose your specialization as per your interest.

USA has no guarantee of jobs in any sector until u r sponsored by a company. Firstly, you need to find a employer/job who is willing to sponsor your work VISA. Now on employer's part that costs few thousand dollars, also employer is required to get permission from US labour deptt that they could not find any person of the qualification or experience in their country so they need to hire from a foreign country. which further makes it difficult to find a employer who is willing to take all this pain to hire a foreigner.
After your work VISA, which is H1B, is sponsored, it lasts for 3 years max. then after you have to extend it, which is m
