Yes it is a good Institution for travel and tourism and holds a good brand name. However, placements there are highly dependent on your academics and performance.

You should study well in B.Com. You need to score well in CAT and you can choose travel and tourism management in higher rank college as it is a very passionate job. You need excellent proficiency in English. You can also do it from abroad, for that you need to score high in GMAT exam.

MBA is a postgraduate degree of 2 years in majority of universities and you will take 2 years to complete it as you will not get any exception/ relief in studying of courses because of your P diploma in Travel & Tourism.

you can pursue an undergraduate diploma after your 12th as well, but if it is a post-graduate course then you need to finish your Bachelors first.

Travel and tourism is a nice MBA specialization with lesser scope and career opportunities in comparison to specializations such as HR, finance, marketing, IT, etc. If you are planning to pursue MBA, it will better to do general MBA as you can join travel and tourism industry even with generic MBA.
Also, generic MBA will you wider choices in campus placement. However, if you are sure that your interest is in making career in travel and tourism industry then you may go for MBA in travel and tourism.
