The LLM session for 2023–2024 at Utkal University will start in July. The application process for the LLM programme at Utkal University is as follows:
1. Visit the Utkal University website and download the application form.
2. Fill out the application form and submit it along with the following documents: A copy of your Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree certificate; A copy of your mark sheets from your LLB degree; Two passport-size photographs; A demand draft of Rs. 500/- payable to "Utkal University"
3. Submit the application form and documents to the LLM Admissions Office at Utkal University.

Students are given admission based on an entrance test and their career marks.
Selection of the student shall be made strictly on the basis of career-cum- entrance test with the below following points:-
1. H.S.C/equivalent -20 marks
2. +2 Arts/science/commerce/equivalent -30 marks
3. Entrance test (General English & G.K.) 50 marks
Selection for admission will be made on the basis of above career-cum-entrance test. Out of total 100 points career evaluation would carry 50 points and entrance test would carry 50 poin
