Applicants can check the cutoff for NPGC Lucknow at (admission.npgc.in). For a step-by-step breakdown look below:

Step 1: Log in to (admission.npgc.in).

Step 2: Click on “View Entrance Result

Step 3: Check if the applicant's chosen course results have been declared

Step 4: Enter the given Roll No. on the admit card

Step 5: Click “Show Result

NPGC Lucknow fees can vary during the admission process depending on the course. For courses that use the College Admission Test or LUACCET such as BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MCom, MPH and PG Diploma candidates must pay an INR 900 application fee. Whereas, courses under LUACMAT require the payment of INR 1000 application fee.

A candidate may only apply for one course through one application form during NPGC Lucknow course admissions. On the online admissions portal of NPGC candidates are only offered one choice when choosing which course to apply. Moreover, entrance exams at NPGC often occur on the same day for multiple courses as such, it is not recommended to make multiple applications either.

Yes, scholarships are available for both meritorious and needy students at National Post Graduate College, Lucknow. These scholarships/prizes have been set up by the Government of UP and the College to encourage students and are awarded to meritorious students of BCom, Geography BA, and other courses, as well as the College Scholarship for economically weaker students.

The applications dates for NPGC Lucknow admission can vary depending on the course. For UG and Professional courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, BAJMC, BCom (H), BVoc (All) and MVoc (All) the last date of application was July 9, 2025. Whereas for PG courses the last date of application is August 14, 2025. Despite all three starting applications on the same date of March 3, 2025.

No, NPGC Lucknow currently does not offer any form of direct admission in any of its programmes. Interested candidates must meet the course specific eligibility requirements, and then appear for either the College Admission Test, LUACCET or LUACMAT depending on the course-specific requirement and seat allocation. After which a merit-list will be generated and seats shall be allocated to determine admission.

Step 2: Apply for the LUACMAT.

No, a candidate may only join one programme of NPGC Lucknow at a time. This is because according to the UGC, which NPGC Lucknow is recognised, by a student can only pursue one Physical/Full-Time course at a time and NPGC Lucknow only offers courses in Physical/Full-Time modes with no distance/open-learning modes available.

NPGC Lucknow offers a variety of courses with 11 courses at the UG and PG level, 6 Diploma and 6 Certification courses. These courses are divided into the Humanities, Commerce, Science and Computer streams such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, BAJMC, MA in Anthropology/Economics/English/Geography/Political Science/Psychology, MSc Chemistry/Anthropology, MCom, MPH, etc.
