The school of agricultural Science, Lovely Professional University is ICAR recognized. You may know that in terms of agricultural education and research in India, the ICAR matrix agricultural education and research in the country under the auspices of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (Government of India), whose President is the Union Minister of Agriculture. It also grants affiliation to Indian educational institutions. The LPU School of Agriculture was authorized for accreditation with one of the highest grades out of all eight universities reviewed. Among all universities, LPU had the highest rating of 3.42/4 from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Lovely Professional Institution (LPU) is the first private university in India to receive ICAR accreditation. This demonstrates the department's and school's overall strength and credibility. Talking about my experience, at LPU you will get the desired exposure to the farms of LPU that what LPU alumni say, where you will come to know in deep about agriculture through hands-on sessions. Moreover, LPU focused on the improvement of academic quality and public accountability and that's the reason that LPU got ICAR accreditation to run this programme. LPU meets official standards.
