The fee structure for UG courses at VJTI Mumbai for the academic year 2022-23 is as follows:
1. Engineering (B.E.) - Rs. 38,000 per annum for Maharashtra students and Rs. 1,50,000 per annum for Non-Maharashtra students.
2. Architecture (B.Arch.) - Rs. 38,000 per annum for Maharashtra students and Rs. 1,50,000 per annum for Non-Maharashtra students.
Note: The fees are subject to change as per the guidelines of the Government of Maharashtra and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

- State Quota for Maharashtra (via MHT CET)
Home State Candidates must score at least 135–150+ points out of 200 in the MHT CET examination. - To be eligible for the All India Seats Quota (via JEE Mains), general category students must score between 5,000 and 8,000 .
The minimum JEE Mains rank required for the reserved SC/ST categories could range from 18,000 to 20,000. - Students in the general category must have an overall math, chemistry, and physics score of at least 75%.

The expected minimum score required to be admitted to VJTI's M.Tech programs -
- GATE score: More than 600 points out of 1000
The GATE scores of the students are used to shortlist them first. A better chance of making the cutoff is ensured if one scores more than 600 out of 1000. It does, however, differ by department. - B.Tech percentage: When applying to M.Tech programs, VJTI also requires candidates to have a minimum of 75% aggregate score (or a CGPA of 7.5+) in their B.Tech or BE degrees.
