It is difficult to get CSE group with your rank but you can go for couselling and opt the seat. If any seat is vacant then you may be alloted the seat. You can go for other groups such as civil, Mech, EEE.

Hello Suresh, your ranking at about 7000 is reasonably good as far as the entrance examinations go where around a Lacs of students appear. However it may not be good enough to get the branch of CSE. This is so sense almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and as a consequence the cutoffs for this branch are really stiff.
