Yes, this central university will also be offering admission to various courses based on CUET scores. However, this does not confirm admission. Candidates will have to meet the course-specific minimum eligibility and other criteria as prescribed by the university as well.

Visva Bharati University offers MA programme across 27 specialisations via its Bhasha- Bhavana (Institute of Languages, Literature and Culture), Vidya Bhavana (Institute of Humanities & Social Sciences), Palli Samgathana Vibhaga (Institute of Rural Reconstruction) and Vinaya Bhavana (Institute of Education). Admission to all these is subject to merit in the last qualifying exams, i.e. UG degree except for ‘Comparative Literature’ and ‘Education’ specialisation.

For first subject, the application fee for UR, EWS & OBC candidates is Rs 1,000, and for SC, ST and PWD candidates, it is Rs 300. However, for every addition course/ subject, UR, EWS & OBC candidates have to pay an additional amount of Rs 400 per subject, and SC, ST and PWD candidates have to pay an additional amount of Rs 150 per subject.

Now admission at Visva Bharati University to UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma courses will be based on CUET. It is not mandatory. However, for UG courses, a CUET-UG score is mandatory to take admission. For courses like BA (Hons) students shall have CUET + Departmental Entrance Test (DET) with a 50:50 ratio with equal weightage for admissions.

Candidates can appear for any university or state-level entrance exam to seek admission to the BSc Agriculture Course. ICAR AIEEA 2023 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to offer BSc Agriculture Admission to top colleges.

Visva Bharati University offers a three-year BA (Hons) programmes across 18 specialisations. In addition to this, the University also offers a four-year BA (Hons) programme across four specialisations which are inclusive of one year of preparatory followed by three years of specialisation course.
