No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to BSc courses at Visva Bharati University. The primary eligibility criteria that the university requires to enroll students is, securing good scores in Class 12, especially in the subjects they want to specialise in. In addition to admission criteria, aspirants are required to qualify for CUET and NEST with good scores. Even, the university does not explicitly mention any rules for direct admission on its official website.

Visva-Bharati) is a public central university and an Institute of National Importance located in Shantiniketan, West Bengal, India. To study the mind of man in its realisation of different aspects of truth from diverse points of view. To bring into more intimate relation with one another, through patient study and research, the different cultures of the East on the basis of their underlying unity.
