Dear student, Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university with rank 9 under the "Engineering" category (NIRF). It offers a 5-year integrated postgraduate programme (M.Tech. In software engineering). As of now, there is no entrance exam-based criteria for this particular course. To be eligible, you must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State or Central Board of Secondary Education.

You will be getting CSE and all other specializations offered by VIT with CSE in the VIT VELLORE campus.
The course fee structure for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is 7.80 Lacs in VIT Vellore.
All courses fee structure range from 6.92 Lacs to 7.80 lakhs.

It is possible that you may get a seat in Vellore or Chennai campus of VIT for Integrated M.Tech with a rank of 3225.

NIRF ranking depends on a lot of factors, you can not solely depend on NIRF ranking while choosing a college NIRF depends upon - Teaching, Infrastructure, Placements, Research opportunity. But you should SEE what your priorities are and what course are you going to pursue there, but BITS is far better than VIT in ALL RESPECTS if you are getting BIT's must go for it. Great infrastructure, Placements, Brand value on top.
