VITEEE Counselling

VITEEE seat allotment is a process where students will be offered course and college based on their rank/scores secured in the entrance test. The counselling and seat allotment will be done in 5 rounds and is common for all VIT campuses. Students will have to fill in their preferences and wait for the allotment result. Based on VITEEE seat matrix, rank, and choices submitted, VIT will announce seat allotment result.

Students can fill their choices for VITEEE counselling online. First, candidates have to register by paying a fee of INR 5900 (non-refundable) and fill their campus and course choices in the order of preference. Based on merit, submitted choices and seats available students will be allotted seat at VIT campus.

As per the official notification, VITEEE 2026 counselling process will begin in the second week of May 2026 (tenative). The official dates will be updated after result announcement.

Yes, the VIT cutoff is important for the admission process. Based on the cutoff, the authorities will prepare the merit list for admissions into the participating campuses. Along with the VIT cutoff, the authorities will also consider various other examination and admission-related factors such as overall examination difficulty level, total number of students, number of seats for admission, etc. However, it is important for the candidates to meet the cutoff to have a higher chance of admission.

The VITEEE 2024 counselling dates have already passed for 2024. The counselling process typically happens a few months after the entrance exam.

2. Navigate to the "Admissions" section of the website. You might find a separate tab for "UG Admissions" or "B.Tech Admissions."
3. Within the admissions section, look for information about VITEEE.
4. The VITEEE information page or a separate "Important Dates" section will likely mention the counselling schedule for the upcoming year (VITEEE 2025).

After the candidates have confirmed their allotted seats and paid the fee during the VITEEE counselling, they will not be allowed to change their branch and campus under any circumstances. The authorities will not entertain any requests for a change of campuses or courses from the candidates. Since the candidates will be given enough time after allotment to make their decision, they are advised to carefully consider their decision. 

The authorities will conduct the VITEEE counselling process online. Therefore, all candidates are required to participate in the VITEEE counselling process for admissions. The authorities will not accept any requests for change in the date/time of the counselling. Once the candidates are allotted, they will have to pay the required fee and report to their allotted campus. In case the candidates are unable to report to their allotted institute before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.

The authorities will conduct VITEEE counselling in different phases. The candidates will be allocated the counselling dates as per the ranks that they will obtain in VITEEE. Therefore, the candidates are advised to carefully check the dates before participating in the counselling process. The authorities are expected to conduct five rounds of counselling. Fresh registrations and choice filling will be accepted for every round. Candidates will be allotted as per their rank, preferences and seat availability.
