After downloading the VSAT results candidates must check their details such as their name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, rank, and qualifying status. The scholarship eligibility information is also included with the results. Candidates need the verify the contents on the resuls before downloading it.

The VSAT results are declared within 2-3 weeks after the exam is held. The VSAT result declaration date will is not officially out however we can expect that the result will be declared in May 2026. Candidates will be communicated through the Vignan website and may also be notified via SMS or email to registered candidates.

The exam body conducts the VSAT exam in English medium only. All questions, including comprehension and reasoning, are framed in English. Students must be comfortable with English to interpret and respond to the questions accurately.

The qualifying mark vary each year based on difficulty level and number of applicants. In VSAT, however, there is no fixed cut-off, but candidates must score competitively to qualify.

The difficulty level of VSAT exam is considered easy to moderate level. It is same as to school board exams or entry-level engineering entrance exams like COMEDK or SRMJEEE. The level of questions are based mainly on NCERT topics, hence, if candidates are preparing for the exam by referrring to the NCERT books, they have an upper edge over the competition.

Candidates can find previous year papers and sample papers on shiksha.com. We have provided direct link for candidates to download the past year question papers. Students can also refer to some of the coaching institutes which provide sample papers.

In the VSAT exam, the question paper format is objective type (MCQs) in nature The questions test conceptual understanding and application-based knowledge. There is no negative marking in the exam.

In VSAT, there are 120 questions which are in multiple-choice format. 30 are from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, and English or Aptitude respectively.
