While attempting WBJEE JELET, candidates will have to answer question on OMR sheet by darkening appropriate bubble marked A, B, C or D. Candidates should use only black/blue ball point pen to mark answer by completely filling up respective bubbles.

WBJEE JELET will be held in English language. Authorities will not use any other medium of language for entrance examination. Questions will be prepared in English and candidates will have to check questions and mark correct answer out of the given options.

WBJEE JELET will be held as an offline test. Candidates have to visit allotted centres to attempt entrance examination. Out of the provided options in WBJEE JELET question paper, candidates will have to select their correct answer.

According to WBJEE JELET exam pattern, candidates have to answer Category I and II questions. In Category II, candidates do not have to answer questions from Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Category I and II will have questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

WBJEE JELET exam pattern is released online. Exam will have two categories. Category I have 1 mark questions and Category II have 2 mark questions. There are 80 questions in Category I and 20 questions in Category II.

The authorities will release the WBJEE JELET exam pattern online at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will be able to access all details related to the entrance examination through the WBJEE JELET exam pattern. No other mode will be used by the authorities to make the WBJEE JELET exam pattern available. Through the exam pattern, the candidates will be able to understand how the exam will be held and accordingly prepare for it. As per the official exam pattern of WBJEE JELET, the authorities will conduct the exam as a pen-and-paper-based test.

WBJEE JELET marking scheme will be released online by the authorities. Candidates are advised to check the marking scheme carefully to know how their answers will be allotted marks. The category-wise marking scheme of WB JELET is given below.

  • Category 1 - 1 mark will be given for every correct answer. ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

WBJEE JELET will be conducted as an offline test. Candidates have to be physically at their centres for exam. During the 2 hour paper, candidates have to answer 100 objective questions. Category 1 will have 80 questions and Category 2 will have 20 questions.
