WBJEE exam pattern outlines the details regarding how the entrance examination will be conducted by the authorities. WBJEE will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test. The total duration of the examination is 4 hours - 2 hours for Paper 1 (Mathematics) and 2 hours for Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). The candidates will have to answer a total of 155 multiple-choice questions. In the paper, the questions are divided into three categories. Category I and II questions will have only one correct option while Category III questions will have one or more correct options. For every wrong answer in Category I and II, 1/4 mark will be deducted.
